Lonnie Ray Willis of Campbellsville, the son of the late Richard Ray and Mary Bell (Gunter) Willis, was born September 27, 1948 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life April 20, 2026 in Campbellsville at his home. He was 77 years of age.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Roger Willis.
Lonnie enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with family and friends and his fur baby: Bailey
Survivors include his wife: Deloris (Curtsinger) Willis; a son: Timmy Willis and wife Deana; a daughter: Erica Wethington and husband Justin, all of Campbellsville.
Four grandchildren: Brad Willis and wife Megan, Ashley Smith and husband Travis, Shyanne Elmore and Salym Wethington; a brother: Ronnie Willis and wife Louise; two great-grandchildren: Easton Smith and Hudson Willis and one expectant great-grandchild; a sister-in-law: Peggy Willis and a host of other brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
To honor the wishes of Lonnie Ray Willis, cremation rites were entrusted to L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville.
