Henry Lee Colvin, Jr. of Campbellsville, the son of the late Henry Lee Colvin, Sr., and Bessie McFarland Colvin was born on September 20, 1949, in Boyle County and departed this life on April 30, 2026, in Louisville. He was 76 years of age.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He enjoyed music, tractors, horses, raising cattle, watching RFD TV, and was a strong Republican. He was a veteran having served his country in the United States Army National Guard.
He is survived by one son, George Colvin, and six grandchildren, Brandon Colvin (Lauren), Amanda Colvin, Stormy Hall (Derick), Paisley Powell, Austin Colvin (Katelyn), and Haley Beard (Josh), 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 expected great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is his companion Gayle Luttrell.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one son Johnnie Lee Colvin.
The Funeral Service for Henry Lee Colvin, Jr. will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Colvin Memorial Cemetery with Full Military Honor by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
Bro. Steve Orr will officiate.
Visitation on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 11 AM – 1PM at the funeral home.
