Campbellsville Police Release April 2026 Activity Report

The Campbellsville Police Department released its monthly activity report on May 4, 2026, providing the public with an overview of department activity for April and year-to-date totals.

According to the report, officers responded to 985 calls for service during the month of April, bringing the year-to-date total to 3,684 calls.

The department opened 29 criminal investigations in April, with 116 investigations initiated so far in 2026. Officers also investigated 36 non-injury collisions and three injury collisions during the month. Year-to-date, those totals stand at 112 non-injury collisions and 15 injury collisions.

Police made 238 arrests in April, contributing to a total of 871 arrests for the year. Among those were 15 DUI arrests, bringing the year-to-date total to 43. Officers also served 39 warrants in April and have served 202 warrants so far this year.

In terms of enforcement, officers issued 453 citations in April, including 44 for speeding and 62 for seatbelt violations. So far in 2026, the department has issued 1,762 citations, including 169 for speeding and 224 for seatbelt violations.

The report also highlights drug enforcement efforts. Officers handled 30 drug cases in April, resulting in 30 drug-related arrests. Year-to-date, the department has investigated 69 drug cases and made 118 drug-related arrests.

The department reported a criminal case clearance rate of 43.33% for April, with a year-to-date clearance rate of 54.13%.

Officials say the monthly report is part of an ongoing effort to maintain transparency and keep the community informed about police activity.
