A boil water advisory has gone into effect for the consumers of the Green-Taylor Water due to a main water line break for the following area:
Beginning at 11210 Greensburg Road, Edmonton to 5285 Greensburg Road, Edmonton, including Cedar Top Church Road, Cody Trent Road, Beechville Pink Ridge Rd including all side roads, Fishback Lane, Toby Hill Road, and Jimmy Hubbard Road including all side roads in Metcalfe County.
This advisory has been issued due to main water line repairs. Following such an event, the potential exists for bacteriological contamination of the water supply, therefore this boil water advisory has been issued as a precautionary measure. Until further notice, boil all water used for drinking and cooking, bringing the water to a rolling boil for three minutes before using.
The advisory will remain in effect until the situation has been corrected and test results have shown the water to be of an acceptable quality.
