Late Wednesday evening, the Taylor County Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 14 Heart Lane. The alarm was received at 10:39 PM, and firefighters arrived on scene just seven minutes later, at 10:46 PM, to find a one-story residence with heavy fire showing through the roof.
All four occupants were able to safely exit the home before crews arrived, and no injuries were reported.
A total of 15 firefighters responded to the call with three apparatus. Crews worked diligently to bring the blaze under control, remaining on scene for approximately three hours.
