Green County BETA Students Shine at State Convention

Members of the Beta Club from Green County High School delivered an impressive performance at the Kentucky BETA State Convention, bringing home several top finishes across a variety of academic, artistic, and performance competitions.

John-Connor Pannell earned second place in U.S. History, showcasing his strong knowledge in the academic testing category. Kiley Bradshaw also placed in testing competition, finishing fifth in Agriscience.

Sienna Akin added another academic honor for Green County with a fourth-place finish in the Spelling Test.

The Dragons also excelled in the arts competitions. Zoe Weddle received one of the event’s top honors, earning Best in Show for Fiber Arts. Addison Coffey claimed third place in Painting, while Jody Mallory took third place in Quilling. Parker Curry also represented Green County well, bringing home second place in Woodworking.

The club’s Trading Pin design placed fifth, while the Digital Portfolio earned second place overall.

One of the biggest highlights of the event came from Jada Cross, who captured third place in Performing Arts Solo, earning a Golden Ticket to Nashville and advancing to the national level competition.

Green County BETA students continue to demonstrate excellence in academics, creativity, and leadership while representing their school and community on the state stage.
