The City of Greensburg and the Green County Fiscal Court are hosting a community amnesty cleanup program from April 23rd through April 25th. This event offers residents a convenient opportunity to dispose of unwanted household items.
The program will run on Thursday and Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Central Time, and on Saturday from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM Central
Accepted items include common household goods such as appliances, furniture, batteries, and various types of scrap metal. Unacceptable items include paint, oil, tires, propane tanks, garbage, tree limbs, any hazardous materials, and etc.
This initiative is designed to promote a cleaner, safer community while ensuring proper disposal practices are followed. Residents with questions or those seeking additional information are encouraged to contact the judge’s office at 270-932-4024.
