The Columbia Adair County Fire Department was dispatched at approximately 2:23P Sunday afternoon to 6565 Russell Springs Road on a report of a structure fire.
Upon arrival firefighters found a one-story residential structure, with smoking showing from the charlie side of the structure. Crews initiated a fire attack and were able to contain the fire to the bathroom and attic area of the home. The cause of this fire is related to an electrical issue that is in the attic. No injuries were reported at the time of the incident.
There were 12 firefighters on scene for approximately 1.5 hours.
