The heart of Greensburg is about to come alive with the sights and sounds of Halloween fun. This year, Greensburg/Green County’s Annual Trunk or Treat Fest will take place right on West Court Street, inviting families, friends, and neighbors to join in a safe and festive evening of community celebration.
Churches, businesses, individuals, and local organizations or clubs are all encouraged to take part by setting up trunks, tents, or tables to hand out candy and treats to excited “trick-or-treaters.” Participants are welcome to get creative — decorate their spaces, wear costumes, and help bring the Halloween spirit to life downtown.
Those wishing to reserve a trunk-or-treat spot are asked to contact Bridget Childress no later than Wednesday, October 29th. She can be reached by phone at 270-932-5641 (office), 270-405-6453 (cell), or by email at bridgetchildress21@yahoo.com.
Setup begins at 2 p.m. CT on Court Street, where participants can prepare their decorations and get ready for an evening filled with laughter, candy, and community togetherness.
Each year, the Trunk or Treat Fest brings Greensburg residents closer — a reminder that the best part of Halloween isn’t just the candy, but the joy of coming together to celebrate as one community.
