The narrow victory capped a hard-fought tournament run for Green County, who will now move on to play Wednesday, January 21, against the winner from Region 10.
On the boys’ side, the Campbellsville Eagles saw their run come to an end in the finals of the 5th Region All “A” Classic, falling to a deep and talented Caverna team by a final score of 65–43.
The 2A Section 4 boys championship delivered a true classic at the Roby Dome in Marion County, as Taylor County and Adair County went toe-to-toe in a physical, back-and-forth battle.
