Jerry Wayne Williamson

Jerry Wayne Williamson, age 71, of Bowling Green, formerly of Green County, departed this life on Monday, April 27, 2026.

He is survived by his daughters, Bethany Anne (Leon) Henderson and Aleisha Leigh (Cliff) Coomer, and grandchildren, Atley (Kalin) Henderson, Ellen Henderson, Mason Henderson, Paxton Coomer, and Zander Coomer. He is also survived by his mother-in-law: Maxideen Pruitt and sister-in-law: Janie Buress of Greensburg, several nephews were also left behind.

Jerry is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Anne Pruitt Williamson; his parents, Mildred Elouise Smith Williamson and Robert James Williamson; and his brothers, William Judson (Sherra) Hardy and Glenn Lee (Karen) Williamson.

Jerry was fortunate enough to find love not once, but twice, the second time with a very special woman, Donna Hazle. Jerry was very involved in his children’s activities as they were growing up, including serving as the first band booster president of the Greenwood High Marching Gators. He took interest in hobbies like shooting guns, building and fixing things, and especially spending time with his grandkids. Jerry had a knack for making friends easily and was well liked among all those he met. Jerry will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation for Jerry Wayne Williamson will be held Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 10am – 1pm, at Cone Funeral Home in Bowling Green, KY. A memorial service will be held at 1p.m. For more information call Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg.
