Marcia Anne Shuffett

Marcia Anne Shuffett of Columbia, Kentucky, daughter of the late David McDonald and Marian Ashley McDonald, was born on Tuesday, August 12, 1952 in Tennessee and passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024 at the T.J. Samson Hospital. She was 72 years of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was the founder of Shuffett’s Daycare in Edmonton, and worked as a dental hygienist.

She was united in marriage to Robert Gail Shuffett in August of 1989, who preceded her in death on May 27, 2020.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Elizabeth and Ron Richardson of Columbia; three grandchildren: Brayden Richardson, Everly Richardson, Emberlyn Richardson all of Columbia; one brother: Glenn McDonald of Tennessee; three sisters and a brother-in-law: Kathy Mott of Alabama, Debbie and Larry East, Janice McDonald both of Tennessee; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends; and a special caregiver: Lisa Ervin of Edmonton.

The funeral services for Marcia Anne Shuffett will be conducted at on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 1:00 P.M., Central Time at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Liberty Cemetery. Bro. Ricky Williams officiating.

Visitation is requested from 4:30 P.M. until 8 P.M. Central Time, Thursday, August 15, 2024 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M. Friday until time of the service.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Clients of the Shuffett Adult Day Care which can be made at the funeral home.
