Michael Dean Baldwin, Sr, of Campbellsville, the son of the late Bradley Ansel and Lula Candis (Bolt) Baldwin, was born July 29, 1957 in Campbellsville and departed this life on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 in Louisville at the Hosparus Inpatient Care. He was 68 years of age,
He was a member of the East Campbellsville Church of God and a retired employee of Metalsa of Elizabethtown and Fruit of the Loom.
He enjoyed working and spending time with family, especially his “boys” Michael and Andy and “Pop” to four grandchildren.
He was a dedicated hardworking man with faith and loved to laugh and make others laugh.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law: Valerie Baldwin; a brother Shirrell Baldwin and a sister: Shirley Burress.
Survivors include his wife: Lisa (Meeks) Baldwin of Campbellsville; two sons: Michael Dean Baldwin, Jr and partner Candi Craig of Elizabethtown and Andy Baldwin and wife Gina of Florida.
One brother and three sisters: Jimmy Baldwin and wife Marian, Judy Hampton, Jennifer Graham and husband Frankie and Denise Graham and husband Marshall all of Campbellsville and a half-sister: Ann Nunn of Greensburg a sister-in-law: Tammy Baldwin of Mt. Washington.
Four grandchildren: Ayden, Aurora, Luke and Levi Baldwin; his mother-in-law: Charlene Back.
The funeral service for Michael Dean Baldwin, Sr will be Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home.
A PRIVATE burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Bro. Doug Baldwin will be officiating.
Family requests visitation from 5-8 P.M. on Tuesday and after 8 AM Wednesday until time for the service.
