The Green County Sheriff’s Office and the Green County Coroner’s Office are investigating a motorcycle accident that happened on Hwy 565 Ebenezer Rd in Green County on 10/05/25 at 3:51 pm. The driver Derrick Coyle was airlifted to Louisville Hospital and a passenger Hazel Rakes was transported to Jane Todd Crawford Hospital were she succumbed to her injuries. The investigation continues. Assisting on scene were The Green Co Sheriff’s Office, Green Co EMS, Green and Summersville Fire Departments, Emergency Management, Greensburg Green Co communications Center and Green Co Coroner’s Office.
