Rodney Carlisle Martin of Green County, Kentucky, son of the late Carlos Ray Martin and Gloria Gay Lanham Passafiume, was born on Saturday, November 23, 1957 in Louisville and departed this life on Friday, April 3, 2026 at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital. He was 68 years, 4 months, and 11 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and worked as a carpenter and contractor for his own company, Rodney Martin Framing.
He is survived by his two brothers and a sister-in-law: Gregory Martin of Bedford, Jeffrey and Jennifer Hignite of Peewee Valley; a sister and brother-in-law: Tonya and Dan Rakowski of Virginia Beach; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Rodney Martin will be conducted at 11 A.M., Central Time, Saturday, April 11, 2026 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in Greensburg Cemetery.
Visitation is requested after 9 A.M., Central Time, Saturday at the funeral home until time of the service.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Greensburg Cemetery Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
