Russell Lee Priddy of Louisville, Kentucky, son of the late Dora Priddy and Alma Jaggers Priddy, was born on Sunday, August 21, 1932 and passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at his home. He was 91 years, 4 months, and 6 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of Fire and Glory Worship Center, and formerly a member of Evangel World Prayer Center for over 40 years. He previously worked for American Standard and Brown and Williamson Tobacco. Russell was a dedicated husband, father, Papaw, and friend to many who cherished the time he spent with them. His presence will be missed by all, and his memory shall be carried on in our thoughts and memories that we share.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Marion Gayle Lile Priddy, having united in marriage on December 10, 1955.
Other survivors include two sisters and brothers-in-law: Marie and Johnny Hines, Catherine and Donald O’Loughlin all of Louisville; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Melvin and Ruth Lile of Liletown; two great-grandchildren: Cassandra Knuckles (Kendrick Paige), Kaden Knuckles all of Louisville; a great-great grandchild: Braelynn Reign Paige of Louisville; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son: Michael Anthony Priddy; a granddaughter and her spouse: Amanda and Michael Knuckles; and several brothers and sisters.

The funeral services for Russell Lee Priddy will be conducted at 2 P.M., Central Time, Saturday, December 30, 2023 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Liletown Cemetery. Pastor Kevin McKnight officiating.
Visitation is requested after 12 Noon, Central Time, Saturday until time of the funeral service.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the American Heart Association which can be made at the funeral home.
