Shona Lynn McKenzie of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late James Franklin McKenzie and Jeanette (Fields) Mattingly was born July 22, 1970 in Marion County, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at her home. She was 55 years of age.
She was a homemaker and was a parishioner of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Raywick, KY.
Shona enjoyed the outdoors, history, shopping and her pets.
Survivors include two children: Joshua Fields of Lexington and Paige Lynette Hendrickson Darland and husband Dennis of Springfield.
Two brothers: Opie Whitehead, Jr of Lebanon and Robert McKenzie of Missouri; five grandchildren: Isla Joleigh, Sutter Thaine and Macon August Lavelle Fields, A’Laiyah Faith and Lillian Reign Young and a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson: Liam Marshall Scott Fields.A Memorial Service for Shona Lynn McKenzie will be Monday, July 28, 2025 at 7:00 P.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville.
