Thomas Ray Harrison of Campbellsville, the son of the late Hancil Hugh and Ivadean (Lee) Harrison, was born October 15, 1948 in Adair County (the Knifley Community) and departed this life on Saturday, April 13, 2024 in Jeffersonville, Indiana at the Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was 75 years of age.
He was a Veteran, having served in the United States Army, and was of the Baptist Faith.
He was a self-employed bricklayer and operated a lawn care service.
He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two wives: Donna Sue (Bottoms) Harrison and Norma Jean (Buster) Harrison, two brothers: John āJCā Harrison and William Hugh Harrison.
Survivors include his children: Randy Harrison and wife Angie, and Thomas Harrison, both of Liberty, Sandy Fitch and husband Donald of Edinburgh, Indiana, Ricky Buster and wife Deborah, and Faye Ashley, both of Columbia, and Connie Buster of Campbellsville.
Also surviving are four sisters: Joyce Pogue and husband Jimmy of Campbellsville, Imogene Roberts and Louise Cundiff and husband Edward both of Shepherdsville, and Betty Bottoms of Liberty; thirteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
To honor his wishes, cremation rites were entrusted to L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville.
Graveside service and interment will be in the Caldwell Chapel Cemetery at Knifley at a later date with Military Honors conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
