On August 1, 2025 The LaRue County Sheriff’s Office and the Greater Hardin County Task Force responded to Cruse Road in reference to a drug complaint. Sheriff Smith received a drug complaint on houses in the area possibly selling illegal narcotics. Several months of investigation led to the arrest.
Ossie Marshal of Boston, KY was charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana.
Russell Seward of Hodgenville, KY was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Explosives without a permit.
