Junior McDonald of Campbellsville, the son of the late Earnest McDonald, Sr and Eliza Jane (Cox) Wood, was born December 31, 1957 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Friday, April 17, 2026 at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab. He was 68 years of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the South Greensburg Baptist Church and worked in the detailing department for Alex Montgomery Dealership for 41 years.
Jr enjoyed bowling, playing corn hole, watching sports, especially basketball, he loved music and playing the guitar.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Evelyn Herron and his mother-in-law: Esther Tucker.
Survivors include his wife: Ann (Walker) McDonald, whom he married on January 14, 1977.
Also his brothers and sisters: Christine Ferguson and Thelda Kidd, both of Elk Horn, Regina McDonald of Greensburg, Gail Lewis and husband Ronnie of Springfield, Lonnie McDonald and companion Ellie of Lexington, Quilly McDonald and Terry McDonald and companion Connie all of Campbellsville.
His brother-in-law: Clifton Walker of Knifley, sisters-in-law: Michelle Thompson and husband Barry and Tonya Wood and husband Steven all of Knifley; his father-in-law: Danny Tucker of Knifley and his fur baby: Jessie and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
